Kimberly Jordan was born in Pittsburgh, PA. After graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, she moved to Los Angeles, CA, where she now resides. Kimberly began her career in advertising as a graphic designer/Illustrator, 10 years later she would leave the 9-5 workforce and join a group of distinguished ceramic artists in Venice, CA. This encounter was an invaluable learning experience that helped her better understand the resilience of clay. This reintroduction to clay reignited her passion for the medium, which had been her choice of medium once upon a time in her childhood.

Introduced to clay at an early age while spending summers on her grandparents' farm in Virginia, Kimberly found her playground in the forest and her art in the rich red cory clay landscape. Molding and carving into the clay, waiting for the sun to turn the artwork into a wonderful mosaic.

Her ceramic work has evolved into a stunning collection of beautiful hand carvings on clay with brilliant colors and whimsical themes. The hand-carved organic mosaic pieces, which are encased in angle iron steel have been showcased in galleries, showrooms, TV shows, and magazines. Her interior and exterior installations adorn homes around the world, from celebrity residences in Los Angeles to properties in New York, London, and Spain. She has also collaborated on larger projects, including installations at Ontario Airport and work on the Metro Link.

Kimberly's canvas now includes ceramic interior kitchen floors, fireplaces, exterior fountains, walkways, and pools. In addition to her ceramic art, Kimberly continues to express her creativity through paintings, drawings, and writing a children’s book.
